A longtime resident of South Carolina, Gregory Bingel was active with the Chi Psi fraternity while studying finance and financial management services at the University of South Carolina in Columbia in the early 2000s. After graduating with both a bachelor of science and bachelor of arts he relocated to Charleston, where he served three years as an investment advisor with AXA Advisors followed by three years as a customer support analyst and account development representative with Blackbaud. While in Charleston, Gregory Bingel returned to the academic environment to earn his master of business administration from the Military College of South Carolina.
Mr. Bingel subsequently served relatively brief tenures as a budget analyst with South Carolina’s Richland County Finance Department and a personal banker with the Lexington offices of Wells Fargo. He then relocated to Columbia, where he worked as a financial advisor for four years with Ameriprise and eight years with Truist Wealth. Gregory Bingel has been a financial advisor with Cambridge Investment Research since parting ways with Truist in 2023.
